MIPSpro Qualified Registry & QCDR for
MIPS Value Pathways (MVPs)
The next phase of MIPS reporting is here.
MIPS Value Pathways are available in 2023 as a new reporting option to fulfill MIPS reporting requirements. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) created MVPs "to simplify MIPS clinician experience, improve value, reduce burden, and better inform patient choice in selecting clinicians." MIPSpro Qualified Registry & QCDR for MIPS Value Pathways optimizes your MIPS score, and drives higher Medicare reimbursements by leveraging reporting "pathways" that are more relevant to your specialty or practice.

MIPS Value Pathways
MVPs consist of 12 pathways that best match a medical
specialty, medical condition, or episode of care.
What makes MIPSpro the most trusted solution for MIPS and MVP reporting?
MIPSpro Qualified Registry and QCDR has been supporting clinicians' CMS quality reporting, performance improvement, and population health management since 2009. Our years of experience have made us the most user-centric MIPS reporting solution available, incorporating complex rules into a simplified interface that removes the need to worry about the shifting landscape of CMS policy. Focus on patient health and improvement instead of data gathering and reporting.

Are MVPs right for you?
fAQs
Individual clinicians, single specialty groups, multi-specialty groups, subgroups and APM entities
MVPs enable you to fulfill MIPS reporting requirements by leveraging reporting "pathways" that are more relevant to your specialty or practice. Each option includes a subset of measures and activities specific to a disease or specialty.
Additionally, starting now provides your organization the opportunity to become familiar with reporting MVPs and start preparing for any workflow changes that may be needed for your practice.
Determine which MVPs have 4 quality measures in which you can participate. Each MVP has a limited number of measures so while reporting 4 is easier than 6, you need to be careful about which MVP you choose
Determine if you want to report on an MVP as a whole or if you want to split into sub-groups. Each option comes with its own complications and benefits, and not every group will come up with the same approach
Look at the Cost measures for which your organization will be qualified and understand whether that drives you away or towards an MVP. Understand the impact on the staff, if any, to determine if you need to change what measures they are tracking throughout the year.Since CMS will allow you to report an MVP, as well as another reporting framework such as traditional MIPS or the APM Performance Pathway (APP), we recommend that organizations take this option, since CMS will take the highest of your two scores.
CMS will eventually sunset Traditional MIPS, replacing it with MVPs as a mandatory reporting framework.
You must register with CMS for an MVP between April 3rd and November 30th.
- You will need to register for your MVP of choice, the population health measure, and any outcomes-based claims measure needed
- You will also need to register sub-groups and the participants at this time
